Space food

Food needs to be packed with nutrients and vitamins to prevent the person's physical and mental health from deteriorating. This is especially important in space, due to the long periods of isolation involved. Food needs to have an extremely high quality so that the person is able to have a decent mental state and a fit physical state, as it is difficult to get supplements besides from storage. Otherwise, the person would die, one way or another.

Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are important so as to allow the person to gain energy. This allows the person to live, breathe and eat.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is important for eye function. If the eye is damaged in space, it would not be ideal for the mission. This would make it more difficult to live as it would be more difficult to see to be able to go about your daily activities.

Iron

Iron is useful to transport oxygen in blood around the body. A lack of iron is not ideal as it would reduce the amount of oxygen going into the brain, which is not ideal if one wants to be able to survive in space.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is useful as it allows for the body to heal itself more easily. A lack of it is not ideal as it would result in the re-opening of old wounds, which is not ideal for the mission to say the least.

I learnt that food contains many vital nutrients without which it would be a less than pleasurable experience living. Without it, one would suffer quite a bit or even succumb to death because of the lack of nutrients to hold the body together. The presentations were ok, but there were some bits and bumps. I think it could be improved by giving them incentives, which would incentivize them to present better.
