Today I did a presentation on radio astronomy and touched on the aspects of planetary radar and detection of objects emitting radio waves. I touched on the radio telescopes in existence and how they can be used to create extremely large interferometers and how they were used to create the first image of a black hole.

I talked about the history of radio astronomy and how it evolved from involving only one person to an entire branch of astronomy involving thousands of telescopes. It also included their basic principle and why they are located where they are.

The presentation was sort of tiring as I had to project my voice across the room. The presentation turned out to not be as interesting as I intended it to be as they were drifting off and watching other stuff.

The next time, I would try to make the presentation more interesting by putting the quiz first. Hopefully, it would increase the interest in the subject, and the knowledge before and after the presentation could be compared. I could also add on some text on the slides in addition to the images to facilitate with the blog-making. I would also need to assert dominance over every one as they are on WhatsApp or YouTube watching stuff.

All in all, this was a new experience for me as I hadn't presented in astro before.
